“John did amazing with my sink installation. I had a cracked sink that was attached to a granite countertop and he was one of the only people willing to give it a shot. He was prompt and replied to all my messages quickly. Just after sending a couple of pictures, he quickly made an appointment the next day to come take a look. He finished the job in 1.5 hours and was very careful and precise. He explained everything to me step by step to make sure I understood everything he was doing. He even knew where to purchase my new sink bowl just by looking at pictures of the old!”

“John is amazing! We had a hideous fireplace (ugly, dated tile) that we never used and it took up too much of our home living space. I thought I wanted to renovate it and retile it, but John opened my eyes to help me realize what I really wanted--replacing it with a linear electric fireplace that allows for room for the television to be mounted above (without it being mounted too high). John was easy to get a hold of, he worked on the project personally, and he paid amazing attention to detail--even figuring out that the wall wasn't level enough for the frame of the new fireplace and taking several more days to repair the wall before the project was complete. Good contractors are hard to find. I'm really glad I met John! He will definitely have to bless us with his presence on future renovation projects at our house!”

“We hired John to give our kitchen a facelift. New countertops, backsplash, and appliances. We also repainted the cabinets. John was extremely easy to work with. John brought in a fantastic Electrician/Plumber named Marco to work on those parts, a separate crew for painting, and another crew for the countertops. John oversaw the whole project and did all the other things himself, like appliance install, backsplash, etc. It took 2 weeks from start to finish. We appreciated how hard John worked to get it done on time so we weren't without our kitchen for very long. John's work is high quality and the price was fair. We are very happy with the results and I would recommend John for any remodeling project.”

“John did a great job at converting my mother's bathtub/shower into a low threshold walk-in shower. He was able to provided to lowest threshold (1-2``) whereas all the other bids said it would have to have be 3``-4``. He was prompt, on-schedule, professional and courteous. All the reviews here are spot-on as he did a fantastic job. He was patient while we waited for HOA approval. He was helpful with guiding us on where to purchase tile (we wound up going to Floor and Decor at his suggestion) and with finding the sliding glass door we wanted. He was good at communicating with us and had very competitive pricing. He even impressed my plumber, who plans on using him from now on for future tile jobs. I felt even more confident that a fellow professional was impressed by his knowledge and detail. So thankful a friend referred him to me and will definitely use him for any future projects. “We called John after getting into a bad situation with a contractor who was not showing up to finish a kitchen tile backsplash and quartzite counter installation. I honestly didn't know if we would ever get this project done.
After calling John, he and his team were able to come and finish our half completed job in just a few short days. The work is beautiful, he showed up on time, and communicated with me throughout the whole process. We are very happy with the work he did and will definitely call him in the future!”

“John did an outstanding job for us on nearly 90 square feet of backsplash--over several kitchen, dining room and butler pantry locations. This was a difficult job, involving large (1 foot by 2 foot) ``unforgiving`` stainless steel tiles with varying degrees of ``bowing`` to each tile--and the wall itself. His attention to detail was remarkable--and he made sure that both fit and finish were perfect. Clearly, this was not John's ``first rodeo.`` We'd recommend John (and his prices) without hesitation. We're looking forward to the next tiling installation in our master bath--next month.”

“Where do I begin? I can not say enough good things about John. He was recommended to me based on his attention to detail and quality of work when I was in a bit of a pickle and needed help. John was polite, prompt and his pricing was very fair. He was extremely knowledgeable and suggested a few things I didn't think of. He spent an hour with me going over every detail. In the end, I couldn't hire John as it was a very complicated insurance situation. Even after I said I couldn't hire him and felt awful for wasting his time, he continued to be a class act. He offered to help me with advice and was willing to be an advocate- all for free. He said he just wanted to see things done right. You just don't come across people like this anymore. Someone going out of their way to help a stranger - just to be nice. There is no question I'll be calling John and Del Mar tile for a future job. John- thank you from the bottom of my heart. “We had water damage at our house and ended up deciding to replace our entire downstairs of engineered wood flooring to porcelain tile wood-look tile. We had a total of 4 quotes and John's pricing was reasonable considering all the hard work having to remove our wood flooring. I'm glad to say that we've made the best decision in hiring John and his crew. John was professional, courteous, took his time to listen and just was honest through this process. John always responded to my emails/texts and we've never felt ignored. Gilbert, Carlos and John did an awesome job and paid special attention to detail were very meticulous and even saved us on cost by preserving our current baseboards. The detail of the work was very impressive, the grout line just perfect!! We are so in love with our new remodeled floors. We can't stop eyeing it. We would highly recommend John and his crew.
